October, my FAVORITE

October came and went before we had a chance to stop and enjoy it.  October is my favorite month... usually.  This has been my least favorite month of being married so far.  We were both so busy that we didn't get to enjoy all the memories that October has for us.
October started with my Birthday.  I turned 22!!! CRAZY!!! Jordan and I woke up at 5am to go to Denny's for Breakfast since that was the only time I was going to get to see him.  I did get to see him for maybe an hour later that day but other then that we were both in class or working or he was at play practice.  So we didn't do anything crazy special for my birthday which was okay with me.  We made up for it later!
CONFERENCE was AMAZING!!!  I still can't believe some of the things that were said.  Only a few years too late for that mission announcement.  I would have went in a heart beat!!!  That is okay, Jordan have big plans for a mission someday, and I CAN'T WAIT!!! Once again Conference was everything I needed and more.  Always is, and It was an anniversary of Jordan and I going to Salt Lake last year to watch Conference for the first time in the Conference Center, this was the weekend we fell in love!!   Along with other first this month was the 1st anniversary of when Jordan 1st said he loved me and I said I love you back!!  It was the 6th of October.  Then came the 1st anniversary of when Jordan asked me to marry him.  October 15th!!  Just joyful memories!!  I Still love October!!
This is the song Jordan proposed to me with, and also the one we sang together at our reception.  I still love it, plus I love this movie!! Enjoy!! :D

Fair weekend came and came with it a super busy schedule.  I was asked to judge at the fair for instrumental and for voice.  I felt very under qualified but it was a great experience.  I got into the fair for free everyday so I didn't mind.  I judged on Thursday, Jordan performed at the Fair Friday night and then I judged again on Saturday morning.
The Swing

Jordan and I had free tickets to the fair because of his performance so we went after I judged to just enjoy the fair.  We used the extra money from judging to ride some rides and to get us a funnel cake.

FUNNEL CAKE!!

Needless to say we got sick!!  okay not really but we were a little uneasy for an hour or two afterwards. But it was nice just to spend and afternoon with each other.
Jordan was super busy with playing the piano for the play.  I decided to take notes for the practices while they were doing run-throughs so that I could at least see him at nights, plus I was finally able to get in my hours for my work-study.  It was a win-win!!  The performances came and I watched 3 of the 5 performances.  I had it memorized, but it was such a fun show and I was continuously amazed that Jordan could play the piano for the entire 2 hour show. (he started having back aches).
In the Dark on our way to the Induction

Denny's!!!
The next week was full of excitement!!  We were inducted into Phi Theta Kappa... Yeah I guess we are kinda smart.  It was fun, we got cupcakes and a white roses!!
We are super good at taking pictures!
We then decided to make a date out of it and we went to Denny's all dressed up in our formal wear.  We felt pretty!! I love spending time with this handsome man, He is the best!!
What came next that week was something super exciting!!  Robby got engaged!!  We are so excited for Robby and Rebeka!!  It was absolutely beautiful as well.  It took a lot of work but it turned out amazing!!  He wanted to ask her at Frye Mesa.  We went there early hiking a table chairs and stuff for luminaries to light up the canyon where they were going to have dinner and he popped the question.

The start of the hike.  Poor Darius carrying the table.

I was stabbed by a cactus, It kinda hurt!

This is a bad picture of all the candles in the canyon but you get the idea.

The big Moment!!

SHE SAID YES!!!
Wedding planning is in full swing and they will be getting married on December 15th!!  Another December wedding, You can imagine how excited my mom is.  At least this time she is the mother of the groom and not the bride this year.  We are super excited for them!!
The weekend ended with Band Day and Fall Sing.  Jordan did amazing as always!!  I love watching him play the piano, and love how much he loves to sing!  The show was great!  Short sweet and absolutely fun to watch.  Company did Grease, which was so fun.  I definitely MISS IT!!!  I am pretty sure I cried at some points.  I just miss singing!!  I want to go back to singing and dancing everyday, not putting someone's life in my hands.  It is a scary world.   Anyway the choir and everyone just did amazing!!
This was for the Breast Cancer Game
I love/hate that outfit! Mostly I think it is funny

The entire band!! Go Monsters!!

The month ended with me going to Mesa for my last clinical of the Semester.  I spent Halloween in Banner's Cardon's Children Hospital.  I loved some of their costumes.  One little boy was dressed up as a cow, lets just say he was my favorite!!  Well That was our October!!
