Spring Break 2013

Again another old post I finally finished!! :D  Enjoy!!

Spring Break was obviously awhile ago but I am finally having time to write about it and post pictures.  My family decided to spend a few days in San Diego and invited us and my grandma to go along with them.  We were very excited to go.  My mom and I planned everything we would do and got all of our days in order and everything paid for before we went to make sure things were happening.  We went Groupon and found some AMAZING deals!!  Things we would not have done otherwise.  (There will be lots of pictures to help me get through this!!  SORRY!)
For some reason I love wind turbines, I think they are beautiful!

First night in San Diego just relaxing on a pier

Our TINY Shower

We went whale watching and this was our boat!
While waiting to load on to the boat I saw this car, it was so funny to me! And of course Jordan had to gang up on someone, poor Tyson.  I was glad that all of his pranks were not directed towards me, the joy of company!! :D

A WHALE!!!
We were so amazingly close to this whale it was unreal!!  There was a point where dolphins were swimming right next to the whale.  It was unusual for the whale to be so playful and NOT shy!!  The tour guides were even super excited about how close we were able to get!

Back of boat and that is the whale, SO CLOSE!!!

Jordan sneeking up on me

The Girls!!
Knott's Berry Farm: This was a second for me, although I didn't realize I had been there before, actually just a year before this.  I obviously wasn't paying much attention on my last trip! I couldn't ride very many rides so my Grandma and my Dad babysat me while the others when on the big kid rides.

On the train!

My Grandma from the view of the Ferris Wheel

My dad was kind enough to ride with me, he hates ALL roller coasters!!

Grandma got brave!!

She was proud of herself

He always makes me laugh
I love the beach!! My favorite part of the beach is looking in tide pools and finding all kinds of sea life. I love sea anemones.  They feel so cool!

Crazy story!!  Once we thought we saw a dead baby sea lion. So we got really close and took pictures and sent people to tell the people on duty to maybe help put it back in the water.  It was up extremely high from the water.  Twas not the case!!  It was very much alive and we scared it so badly that it almost died by diving off the cliff it was on onto the rocks below.  It was fine though!

Just some crevice he decided to explore. Such a cool picture!

Again, so glad he had someone else to pick on :D

Well it was nice for a little while
We decided to go to Balboa Park which is huge and this was a museum we went to and walked by.  It was late and not a lot was open.

Ginormous tree

These next pictures are what we decided the desert would look like if it actually received rain, WEIRD!

Jordan and I had so much fun with my family!  We left Sunday and Returned Thursday.  We stayed in a hotel room with my Grandma and just had a relaxing time.  I was definitely in need of this, it was my last block of nursing school and I was pregnant, which also deserves a break!  The Twins turned 17 while we were there.  They are getting so old!!  It was so much fun, we definitely missed Robby and Rebeka, and Emery (she was only dating Duskin at the time)  Can't wait for another adventure!!
