So Jordan and I needed some much needed motivation to try and get in shape. So the Squires found a 5K run in Sierra Vista to do. It was called RUN OR DYE. Our team name was Run and Dye! Which is basically what ended up happening. We had tried off and on to get running and eating healthy but until we finally signed up we didn't do it. We only gave ourselves about a month to prepare and we were not planning on running the whole thing just doing as much as we can. We ended up doing a lot better then we ever expected to and had ever more fun!!

We decided to take David along with us. He went with his Grandma Squires and got all colorful along with everyone else. He didn't seem to mind at all.
We all Finished!! Jordan stayed back with me for the most part. He was in a lot better shape then me. But he was kind and stayed with me until at the very end I let him go ahead and keep running. He did awesome, I am so proud of how hard her worked!
We had fun playing in the powder dye after the race. They had big boxes of it and we even had a war. Funny Story: Jordan had absolutely no idea we were going to have dye thrown on us during the race. He was totally serious about this race and was really upset that it was almost a joke. We laughed at him a little, or a lot. It was just so funny he had no idea till the night before the race. I think he was pleasantly surprised that it was more fun then seriousness.

I love that this crazy boy of mine is willing to do crazy stuff with me, even if he doesn't really know what he is getting into ahead of time. But that is just our life in general.
