March 20th Sunday update :D

I feel like the first of the week was kind of a blur.  Mostly catching up on cleaning, getting ready for parties, and trying to keep the young ones alive.  We did have FHE, we have been doing pretty good at that this year :D, on fishers of men.. We get them out of a wonderful book that I believe we got from the Squires called 52 weeks of Family Night.  We love it, super simple lessons that are quick and easy and great for our kids.  No preparation necessary which I like right now.  Lizzie was teething, come to find out she has 4 new teeth, molars!  One on each side and top and bottom.  The bottoms seemed to bother her the most because honestly we didn't realize she was teething till the top two had already broke.  So quite a few sleepless nights, and she enjoyed chewing on basically anything!

We stayed inside most of the week.  Some days are warm for a little bit most days are cold with an occasional snow storm randomly for a few minutes.  On Tuesday Jordan's boss gave us a car we are borrowing from his Dad.  I don't know how long we will use it but I am grateful!  Jordan has been taking it to work.  So on Thursday I decided we would finally venture out and do some laundry and go to the post office to send some mail.  It went surprisingly well. First stop was the post office which I set Lizzie down and she didn't move the entire time, she is Extremely shy around anyone but Jordan and I. David ran around like is happy self.  We then got gas, which it was snowy at this time, And I almost didn't bring a coat because it was beautiful leaving our house! HA! We then did lots of Laundry, no longer snowing, and David slept in the car for most of it.
Friday was off to a great start!  Kattie Young called and asked if the kids and I wanted to come over to hang out for the day and of course we said yes!  So I was trying to hurry and clean up a bit and finish some things for work before we headed over.  While at my desk Lizzie tripped and landed head first into the metal handle on one of the drawers.  He head instantly started swelling and it was a crazy site to behold just watching it grow before my eyes.  We face timed Grandma Martindell for a quick 2nd opinion, and Lizzie was fine we would just watch her and give her Tylenol. (She has had a rough week!)  But we decided to go ahead and go over to Kattie's anyway. David wanted to walk.  We always have so much fun over there and this time was no exception.

Ben and Kattie have sheep and 1 had twins and then they just got 6 bum lambs so we got to help bottle feed them which David loved!  Lizzie was sleeping.  The kids watched the Good Dinosaur which we were returning to them.  It is David's new favorite movie, He loves Dinosaurs!  Later that night Kattie and I went on a walk, 1 mile :D  We are going places haha.  Neither of us have done much this winter so we decided to take it slow, but we plan on walking farther the next time.

Saturday we had a semi busy schedule that mostly fell through.  The missionaries were supposed to come over in the morning to practice their song they were going to sing on Sunday.  But they were sick and didn't call until later in the afternoon.  Jordan's piano lesson also fell through, They were at a movie that took longer than they thought. So mid afternoon we finally were able to leave the house to go shopping. which went well.

Today was GREAT!  Jordan and I were both able to take showers before the kids woke up.  We had baked Oatmeal which David LOVES! We all got ready and made it in time to sing with the Choir.  We perform next week. Lizzie's afternoon nap is right in the middle of church and she has a really hard time falling asleep on our laps now.  We teach half of the 8 yr olds and we love them.  Usually Lizzie won't let them hold her but Brielle was lucky today and Lizzie even fell asleep!  It was adorable so I snuck pictures while we were doing singing time..

Jordan went to his first Temple Area Choir practice tonight.  We auditioned back in December, it was pretty intense.  Lots of theory knowledge and such.  I was placed as an alternate, which was actually a blessing because I don't know how we would have worked that out.  But Jordan made it :D It will now be every Sunday so if anyone gets bored and wants to Skype you know where to find me :D

David: is learning so much.  This week he counted to 10 all by himself with out getting confused, I think it was because we were playing Hide and seek. He loves that game. He thinks everyone is funny because they laugh. He is such a sweetheart! Oh story from a few weeks ago.  I had just finished my hair and it was in a braid.  I came out of the bathroom and he says, "Mom, pwetty!  OOO like frozen!!"  It was so funny!  He is so smart it kills me!

Lizzie: is getting so big, as I said earlier she has 4 new teeth totalling 12 now!  She loves any and all food! She is also a big Momma's girl, which sometimes I love.

 Until next time :D

The Squires! :D
